I've been with Verizon since they got into the email business and spam has not been a big issue. But lately all I get is bombarded with spam. My emails for Today totaled 28 and 20 of them were spam. Not a good percentage.
Come on Verizon,,, obviously something is not working! How about some assistance...
Spammers have been very active.
I have two verizon accounts
ONe like yours got in the 20's of spam yesterday. Its a long time id
The other is for an ID that has only existed 1 1/2 years. To date it got ONE(1) spam that wasn't caught by the spam filter.
So lots depend on how and where you userid has been used.
Over the last month or two, I have seen a very large increase in the spam that gets through the Verizon filter. Prior to that Verizon was filtering these same messages to my Spamdecttor folder and only about 10-20 percent of the spam got through to my inbox. Now it's around 80%. They broke something.
