Can not create Sub Account

I am trying to create a Sub Account while logged in with my primary verizon.net account. Have tried 3 browsers and all I get is an error without any explanation .
I have tried again and again.
Any ideas on how to solve or troubleshoot this issue ?

I'm running into the exact same issue. I've tried multiple browsers, multiple computers and multiple internet connections and I still get the same error.

Reports elsewhere is they have eliminated the ability to create email sub accounts. Perhaps as part of the move to move everyone to AOL.com.
You can however go directly to mail.aol.com (or some other popular email providers) and create a free email account.
