My email was compromised. I changed my password and ran a virus scan which yielded nothing. I tried to change my secret question but the system responds by telling my that is is unable to make the change and that i should try again. Repeated retrials got the same response.
Anyone have any way around this?

Tech Support can reset your Secret Question for you via their tools. You'll need to contact them through one of the options on Verizon's Contact Us page.
