I am having a puzzling and frustrating problem today. I am staying at a campground with wifi, but I can't send email. My internet connection works fine, and I can receive email just fine, but I can't connect through port 465 to smtp.verizon.net. If I activate my phone hotspot and connect through that instead, it works fine. All of my setup parameters are fine, I just can't send email through the wifi connection. Anyone have any suggestions or thoughts on this?
Possibly your assigned ip address is being restricted. Used by people who spammed in the past, or not showing as a valid U.S location. I'm sure there are other possibilities.
