Is it true that we now need to change our email settings on every device in our household? That's nuts if it's true. I've been on hold now for about a half hour trying to get an answer from Verizon people. Everybody is always so busy.
Anyway, is it true?

The short version is yes, if your devices are accessing Verizon email via POP3.
The long version is that these new servers (pop/smtp) have been in place for quite some time, and multiple waves of notifications have been sent out requesting that users change their settings. Verizon is just finally getting around to shutting down the old (incoming/outgoing) servers.
