Deleting Emails not working properly

I cannot delete my emails. I check the box and hit delete-it goes thru the motions like it is deleting and then the emails are still there. I have to delete 2-3 times before deleting actually happens.

I have no solution.  Just wanted to say that I have been experiencing this very problem as well.  Sometimes it seems to help by deleting just one or two  emails at a time from the INBOX list.  Deleting a bunch of messages all at once seems to be when the problem happens the most.

Thanks for letting me know I'm not alone. Yes, sometimes 1/2 does help. Maybe someone will read this real soon and have a programmer repair the problem.

UPDATE IN DELETING TROUBLE: Not only do I have to delete 2/3 times to get email to trash BUT when it does go to trash it is also deleting the email below that is not checked off to delete. I can not move the unwanted deleted email back to the inbox (message stating it has been deleted or moved to another folder) and I cannot delete emails from the trash folder.

VERIZON PLEASE STRAIGHTEN OUT THIS PROBLEM....SOON.
