Does anyone know how I can have a copy of my Verizon mail sent to my Google E mail account.  I want to be able to access my Verizon mail from my Google account.

Most email clients allow a setting to leave a copy on the server. If you have Outlook (Express), Thunderbird, or Windows Live Mail (all free), you could use one of those.

P.S. ....ooops I just checked the Google Gmail site.... and they do indeed allow leaving a copy on the server. Check the following link:

Don't forward ... instead, inside of Gmail, go into the "Settings" section (upper right corner of the Gmail screen), then under Accounts.  Choose "Get Mail From Other Accounts" and set it up using the settings for retrieve POP mail.   Gmail will then automatically poll for mail in your verizon account periodically and pull it directly into your Gmail.

I can't do that because it takes the mail from my Verizon account.  I wany to leave a copy in my Verizon account.  In other words, I want them to make a copy of the mail and put in the Google account., leaving the original in my Verizon mail account.  That way, when my Verizon account is unavailable (happens alot), I can get the mail from my Google account.
