I am now able to get to the E mail page, but all messages and saved messages are missing. Help!!!!!
All my folders, and emails are gone. Need those to be retreived. Thanks Brian ( user name gunn)
I had the same problem. I was finally able to get in but ALL of my email is gone.
I just got in and have only one new message.
This is absolute nonsense. Taking way to long. They sure know how to badger you when your bill is late. I am sick of Verizon.
Awesome. I can get in now, too... but all of my saved mails, orders, reciepts, important communications.. are gone. Tabla rasa. That's well over three years worth of saved communications gone.

I was just able to get into my email here in MA - but only 2 new messages in my inbox. ALL of my email (inbox and folders) are all gone. I sure do hope Verizon has a backup and that they are planning to restore (some of my email is downloaded to other computer but some is not).
I'll bet my contacts are gone also
Else I suspect this will be the push I need to leave verizon...

I couldn't get on email all morning. I finally got on and ALL of my emails are GONE. Sat on hold with verizon for over 15 minutes without getting any help. does anyone know what the hell is going on???
Same here. Finally got on to check e-mails and EVERYTHING is gone. Seriously? I am in a panic as I had e-mails on there that were for a legal case I might have to pursue.

It sounds like they are rebuilding from scratch. Let's hope they can restore our emails from the last backup.
Hi. I was so thrilled to see that I could get finally into my webmail. But... was a little leery to see there were no emails, so spam, no trash, no nuttin' Now I see that I am not the only one. Makes me leery to think about what I might have missed.
Maybe they will put them back?? I'm hoping but won't hold my breath.

I had the same problem today (9/12/13). Could not get into webmail (system issue, not me having the correct login and password. Now that I can access my web mail, all my messages in my inbox are gone. Can someone from Verizon please explain what happened!
Not only are my emails gone, but so are all of my subfolders...what is going on Verizon???
E-mail is back up but I have lost ALL e-mail! Inbox, Sent, Folders etc.
In the process of looking for a new job and I had critical e-mails with contact information for interviews lost!!!!

Here is the latest update from Verizon's Outage page on the email issue effecting some of you:
On 9/12, Verizon experienced an email service disruption that affected a small portion of our email customers. Through our restoration effort, customers are now able to send and receive email normally and will continue to have access to their calendar and address book.
We are actively restoring email folders for customers who were affected. This may take several days to complete. When the issue is fully resolved, email previously sent or received and any personal folders that customers created prior to this interruption will be available.
We apologize for the inconvenience some of our customers have experienced, and we appreciate their patience.

All of my emails are missing, putting me in a very difficult situation with business I must conduct. Very disappointed this is happening. Please alert your customers anyway you can when this will be resolved. Thank you.

I got a weird error message when I tried to log on to my home PC this morning. When I checked again this afternoon, I could log in but everything was cleared out.
My iPhone did retain everything though, but no new messages since yesterday. I sent myself a test message from my work account on my phone and it went through (but took a while.)
