E-mail timing out

Recently, my e-mail began timing out causing me to re-sign in. I do not wish to be timed out while I have the Verizon screen up in a tab. This is very inconvienient.

How can I change the setting so I am not timed out.

Timing out is not acceptable.

This announcement does nothing about the NUMEROUS complaints about this problem?   WHEN WILL WE GET AN ANSWER?  Told 2 more people today about how I regret changing to Verizon.  This problem is an example why  I won't recommend VZ to anybody!  Pass that on to somebody that might care please!

Try installing a third party email client such as Thunderbird or use a web based program like zohomail to fix this issue. They are both much more feature filled and both are free. http://download.cnet.com/Mozilla-Thunderbird/3000-2367_4-10213643.html
