Impending new Verizon FIOS internet user. Will I get Email accounts, since Verizon is going/went out of providing Email service. If Email accounts are provided who is the provider, AOL?

Starting February 2017, Verizon will no longer provide verizon.net email service. Instead they will focus on providing their internet, TV and phone customers the best experience possible.
gmail is FREE
worth looking into.

You can of course get a free AOL email account, or go with other free email services.

Yes, Verizon unfortunately uses AOL.
I seriously recommend anyone to NOT use AOL because of the historical issues and very, very, poor service and security issues they continue to have. For further information just do an internet search on issues with AOL.
