Ever since yesterday, August 2nd, all of my outside devices are telling me unable to retrieve email, check that username and password are correct. The email is able to be retrieved from the Verizon website but not from outside devices. I don't think Verizon support has a clue to fix it and I have tried everything. Anyone else having this problem?
Possibly the servers were down where you were. But also possibly you are using old settings.
Did you update to
pop.verizon.net 995 ssl
smtp.verizon.net 465 ssl
Authentication normal (clear) password?
