My father passed away back in August. I had been keeping up with his emails. Now there really is no need. Does anyone know
how I can delete his email account?

My condolences.
Cancel his Verizon account. This may require you sending a copy of a death certificate to Verizon. Calling 800-567-6789 and having his Verizon Account Number on hand would be a start and indicate you want to cancel his account.
