I Am Unable to Access My Verizon Yahoo Emails

I too am unable to access my Verizon Yahoo emails.  I had to change my password and the stupid system is not accepting the new password even though it accepted the change when I created the new password.

My Yahoo account has recently been locked. Yahoo Support is directing me to have Verizon resolve this situation. Can anyone help?

I reset my verizon password a few days ago, and now I cannot get into yahoo mail. I tried to reset the yahoo mail password. It redirects me to the Verizon site to reset password, but again when I use this new password to login on yahoo mail it does not work. I am able to use the password to login into Verizon site but not to yahoo mail.

I learned that my email is linked to an account managed by Verizon. I am locked out because of not remembering my password.  Due to contractual agreements, Yahoo is not able to assist directly with resetting my password. Can you help unlink this account so I can get the password problem squared away with Yahoo please?  Many thanks.

Same problem here.  Changed my password right before Thanksgiving and it must have triggered some kind of conflict, because email no longer came into Outlook and I could not log on through Verizon Yahoo site.  For a while I could log on through Verizon.com IF I used Chrome, but the link to email on that sight was removed in mid-December and now I cannot access email by any method.  The Yahoo site does not recognize the password.

We have another verizon/yahoo email account for which we did not change the password, and that works fine.

What's up?  If Verizon is getting out of the email business, it needs to look out for its customers better.

It normally is very straight foward.

  1. Make sure you are using userid@verizon.net
  2. The password rules at yahoo are a bit different.  Recently many have had to change their password to match those rules.
  3. Under some caes you will have to contact Verizon if you account gets locked and you find yourself being send back from Yahoo to a Verizon page.  Note these forums are peer to peer and not the best way to opean a contact to Verizn.

Hello,

I used to have my Yahoo mail account linked to my Verizon Internet account, but no longer have Verizon. My accounts are still "linked," when I try to sign into Yahoo. Also, it has always shown up as Verizon/Yahoo in my e-mail account ever since the accounts were originally linked. I don't know why the two accounts were never "unlinked." My Yahoo account is now locked, and when I try to sign it, it tells me that I should click a button that says "unlock and change password." Clicking this button takes me directly to the Verizon website. I login using my old username, have changed my Verizon password, and see no way to unlink my account from Yahoo. Yahoo help has told me to contact Verizon, and this is my attempt at getting online help. This site is not user-friendly for my purposes, and would greatly appreciate a solution, so I can access my e-mail that I use for everything.

Hi Support

I'm also locked out of my yahoo email and have tired to reset my password. I can not access with the new password I reset through verizon or my old password. It does not recognize the new password and keeps looping me back to Verizon for unlocking and changing password again.

This started because I was trying to remove an alias account which I did not set up and do not recognize.   It would not let me delete the account and I think my account is being hacked. 

Please help as I need to access my email account.

I too have been unable to access my Verizon Yahoo emails.  After Yahoo had its big data breach, Verizon agent recommended that i use webmail.verizon.net to logon and that worked fine for quite some time.  As others in the thread have stated, I received prompts to change My Verizon pwd and did.  After that, the only way I found I could log into my email was using Chrome Incognito browser making me think there was something going on with cache.  Nonetheless, it worked so I used it.  Several weeks ago that stopped working but I did find a link at the bottome of My Verizon page that said "Check Email" so I tried that and it worked up until several days ago.  Now I am completely unable to access my Verizon Email despite repeated attempts, the "Check Email" link no longer appears at the bottom of My Verizon page, and although I chatted with Verizon Help two days ago I am 'still' unable to login and access my email with is a big problem at this point.  The Agent I chatted with said that the login problem I was experiencing was known and should be resolved by yesterday afternoon.  I tried several times last night with no success.  HELP!

I too am unable to log into my verizon.net account via yahoo. I have reset my password on verizon.com. Still won't work. yahoo tells me my password is incorrect.
