I too am unable to access my Verizon Yahoo emails. I had to change my password and the stupid system is not accepting the new password even though it accepted the change when I created the new password.

Try resetting password to something completely new and ONLY with letters/numbers (no special characters). That did the trick for me!

The PW change you refered to was for your "My Verizon" logon ....? And that PW change allowed you to access your Verizon-Yahoo mail box..?
Thanks..

Correct -- I was having the same issue as many here. I could log in to Verizon.com but could not access email at Yahoo (which always worked before). This all started when I change my password a week+ ago. Even though Verizon allows special characters, Yahoo doesn't (or there's a temp issue with them).
So once I re-changed my password to ONLY letters/numbers, I've been able to login on both Yahoo and Verizon with the same pw.

Apparently everybody is happy with the fix of removing special characters from your password. Do you realize that that weakens your password, for a primary email account, with a carrier that has recently had a massive security breach? Verizon should not have removed its "check email" service until it had resolved this problem with Yahoo--which Verizon now owns.
I have not been able to access my email now for days, and the only way I can do so is to essentially open it up to hackers.
This is what you get when your country does nothing to break up monopolies.

I've been trying to login to Verizon email through Yahoo (@verizon.net) for three weeks now and cannot get in. I've called numerous times and there is no work around. Verizon left their customers hanging by switching their email service over to AOL. Whatever you do, don't forget your password for your Yahoo email or the password reset option will not work. It will simply reset your Verizon password, but not Yahoo.
I was able to get into the system a few weeks back by clicking on My Email on the Verizon home page, but that link was removed three weeks ago. Now I have client emails that I can't access and pay $200/month to a tech company (Verizon) that can't resolve it's own issues. Pathetic!

Are you still having problems accessing your e-mail? I've had my case open since 12/18/17 and it's still not resolved.

Yes, I'm still having problems. The only thing they told me was to use a password w/out special characters. However, I never get the chance to enter my password on the yahoo site. After I enter my e-mail it directs me to the verizon page.

I agree, this is very frustrating. I was able to finally access email when I changed the password on Verizon.net (not Verizon/Yahoo) to have no special characters.

Did anyone get a resolution? I cannot access my email either and I was told today there was nothing Verizon can do. I told him I can cancel my internet service with Verizon and go to a carrier who can help with issues. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!! He informed me it isn’t their fault and that I need to understand he did the best he could.

I changed my password and now whenever I try to log in it redirects me to the verizon website and there is no link to sign into my Yahoo account. I do not see "My Support Cases" in my profile.

I also cannot access my Verizon Yahoo Emails. The password I have tried matches my Verizon account. Has this issue been resolved as it seems to be a more global issue.

This is ridiculous! The 1st person that posted this issue on this thread posted it on 10/25/17! And still no solution?! I am having the same issue along with countless others (google it!) Over 2 months and still waiting?! I had a Verizon rep trying to get me to pay $99.99 to bump this up to "tech support" and she said it was estimated that it would take 60-90 minutes to correct the issue! WHY should I or others have to pay Verizon to fix THEIR issue?! The problem is not with user computers or equipment! This issue lies squarely on Verizon's website and software! I can't even verify my new email address with them for communication, it either doesn't process or I get an error message.

Hi Kerroj,
We have reopened your Private Support Case. Please access your case through your profile page by following the instructions previously posted here. The support agents do not monitor the public boards and will need to hear from you in the Private Support area before they can begin assisting you.

Over on Reddit I notice that this same bug has been affecting some Yahoo Fantasy Football users.
Any business journalists? I think there's an interesting story of oligarchic abuse of power here. For example, note this intriguing post over in the Yahoo Forums:
Even though Yahoo manages the email, the account itself is owned by Verizon. Due to contractual agreements, we're unable to provide support for these issues. If you contact Verizon, have them escalate the issue to our team here and we'll be able to help. You may need to speak with a supervisor here to ensure this happens.
