I am currently having an access issue with my VZ email. I am working in West Central Africa, in Angola, and I am not able to access my VZ email with my laptop while using wi-fi with the following IP 192.168.205.218. I am having no issue whatsoever accessing my VZ email with a desktop computer on our system using the following IP 196.29.xxx.xxx {edited for privacy}. I am even able to gain access to my VZ email on the wi-fi network using the following IP 192.168.206.161. So my question is, how can VZ help me gain access to my PERSONAL EMAIL from my laptop using wi-fi and IP 192.168.205.218? Let me also state that I have no issues whatsoever in gaining access to the internet with any of the these three methods, and I am not able to USB tether my phone to my computer. I'm looking for advice.

- You are not using, hopefully, 192.168.x.x on the internet . The whole range staring 192.168 is a private network typically used by your local routers to represent your internal network and translated to a real IP address for external users via NAT. On the external network routers are suppose to reject the various private IP addresses as invalid.
You are talking to PEERS here not Verizon or Verizon Support

Thanks for the reply. After further discussion with our IT department it seems that the real IP addresses are 196.xxx.xxx.xxx and 41.xxx.xxx.xxx
After struggling to use the web based access to my email and not getting anywhere, I configured the Mac OSX Mail application and was able to access email on my laptop. All is now well.
