I received an e-mail yesterday about changing my mail settings. I use Incredimail. I changed the setting for the ports. However after I do this my e-mail doesn't work. I put the settings back to incoming Pop3 port 110 and the outgoing to 25. What could the problem be?

I had the exact same problem outlook could not locate server. The problem seems to be only with the incoming server I left mine set for port 110 and changer the outgoing port to 465 as directed don't forget to select the ssl option. as of to day it's still working. Support is so overwelmed you cant get to them to report this problem. the problem is in verizons end.

The new ports require SSL protocol be selected. Not familiar with incredimail but a quick search of their site includes instructions for configuring using SSL.

I changed my settings again after giving Verizon a weekend to fix their end and they worked as of Monday. The only thing I did different was in to increase the time out time to a full 3 min. (just be low the port settings on the advanced tab)
