If you sign up for Verizon Your Domain and link it to the address before you cancel it should remain active as long as you pay for VYD ($19.95/year).

What a joke, call the 800 services # and they tell you it has to be done online. Went to My Domain found what I needed but would not let me order the 19.95 a year plan.  Did the online chat with Nathan and he tells me I have to call the 800 services # cause I can't do it online it has to be done over the phone.

For me the Verizon your domain worked excellently.  I'm in a new area without FIOS so I am using Optimum cable. My mass email (forums, etc, I also use gmail accounts) goes through Verizon and is picked up by my desktop Eudora POP regularly.

In fact, I will not be using my Optimum email addies much, because they don't have an equivalent service and I don't want to have problems down the road.

If I sign up for a Domain under my Main @verizon.net what about my Sub accounts Sub1@verizon.net. Sub2@verizon.net and so forth.

I did read that when creating sub accounts with the domain name to select an email are those the emails that would become alaises

Thanks in advance.

To Whom It May Concern:

My name is {edited for privacy}  I recently switched my tv, internet, and phone from Verizon to Comcast, ,however I need to transfer my email information from my verizon acct.  to my comcast acct.  Verizon terminated my acct. on 6-25-2013.  They reinstituted it on 7-11-2013 just long enough for me to eport my email information from my Verizon acct. to my Comcast acct.  I have followed the info. from Comcast to complete that process, however when I put in my Verizon acct. user name and password, an error message comes up saying that one or both are invalid.  I urgently need your help to complete this process.  My correct information for Verizon is as follows: e{edited for privacy}

I await your response with any suggestions.  {edited for privacy}
