First my email programs shut down, now I cant access verizon.net on my macbook it loops around not coming up cant even get webmail or anything now. Anyone have a suggestion? Had to do this using my netbook

You really do n ot supply and facts surrounding this problem such as Browser used and its version and specifiic Verizon sites that you are going to. Provinding specific information means the ability to porovide specific answers not generalized ones.
However I will take a stab at it... It sounds like a Single Sign On (SSO) Cookie issue. So if you are using Safari, try Firefox or Internet Explorer. I also suggest in regards to the un-named, problematic, Browser "Clear the SSL State" and all Verizon related Cookies.

I am using Safari and OSX 10.6.8 the mail programs are MAC Mail and Thunderbird. I will try to delete the cookies

If you are using Mozilla T-Bird then trying Mozilla Firefox should not be out of the question as well.
