Migrating Verizon desktop email from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1

Just installed Windows 8.1 (against my better judgment) and noticed that Verizon's mail program on my destop, with all my folders and archived emails, isn't there.  I was able to set up the company email on Outlook, but can't seem to figure out how to migrate the old Verizon email account to the new desktop.
