How do I import my Verizon.net e-mail contacts to my Microsoft Outlook Contacts?

NYY,

Presently there is no option to export contacts directly from the Verizon Webmail website. You can only import contacts to the webmail address book.

Should we open aol.com accounts a nd dump our verizon.net?  Will that export our contacts to Outlook?
