New email settings causing time outs or not working

So they send me a notice to change my email settings as soon as possible in which I did as instructed. It ether just runs, hangs or times out. I hate to call these people and talk to "John" or "Jane" -sigh-.   Any ideas?

Disregard I had some firewall issues.... solved!
