Outgoing Email

I have been having problems with outgoing emails form my iPhone since December. Nothing changed with my iPhone, just all of a sudden emails will not go out.

I get this message:

The user name or password for "SMTP:{edited for privacy}@smtp.verison.net" is incorrect"

I know my user name and password are correct.

Here are the outgoing settings:

smtp.verizon.net

SSL is On

Authenticationis Password

Any ideas?

I fixed this myself. There are two places on the iPhone for passwords -

Settings

Mail, Contacts, Calendars

(Select Email Account)

Under Outgoing Email Server Select Password

Change Password

Press Done

Settings

Mail, Contacts, Calendars

(Select Email Account)

Under Incoming Mail Server Select Password

Change Password

This fixed my problem, but I am sure I did this two-password-reset process several times before it finally worked.
