Does you company offer a VPN or other way to connect to the company servers? I assume email is OK at work now.

Is your outlook profile setup with the latest settings?
:
Server | Current Setting | New Setting | SSL Enabled | Port |
POP3 Server | incoming.verizon.net | pop.verizon.net | YES | 995 |
SMTP Server | outgoing.verizon.net | smtp.verizon.net | YES | 465 |
Also do you get an error when you try to send?

May be several different things. Some of them:
- If your work email uses port 25 you will have a problem as Verizon blocks that.
- The work email servers may not be visible on the general internet. Simply available on there internal wireless network
- May give it a name and not be in DNS. Possibly they previously configured a local lookup on your device.
