Problem w/Yahoo Security Settings "please verify the missing digits"

Does anyone know how to correct/change security settings for Yahoo Mail?

I know my password is correct but it's being rejected and Yahoo is requesting that I verify "For security purposes, please verify the missing digits". Problem is I don't recognize the number that is displayed. Other users have posted this issue but get no answer from Yahoo Support.

(trying to setup Thunderbird for Verizon sub-user account w/password errors and solution was to change Yahoo settings, My Verizon Primary account is able to get e-mail with same settings??)
