Relocating - No FIOS - No landline

Am relocating where there is no FIOS (SOB-BOO-HOO) how do I keep my verizon.net email accounts active?  dlb2013

A quick scan here http://forums.verizon.com/t5/Verizon-net-Email/Is-there-any-way-to-keep-my-verizon-net-E-mail-addres... indicates it can be done, but there is a cost.

Another option would be open a free zoho email account, import your contacts, email and calender items to zoho and change any exisiting verizon email addresses to the free zoho address (cumberome but free)
