SMTP setup for ReadyNas

I'm trying to setup my NAS to e-mail me alerts.  Here is the setup screen from the NAS:

Here were my guesses for the setup that didn't work:

SMTP Server: outgoing.yahoo.verizon.net

SMTP port: 25

User: my Verzion username

Password: my Verizon password

From: ReadyNas

Login type: auto

Use TLS: not checked

The options for the Login Type drop down are: auto, plain, login, cram-md5, digest-md5, and gssapi.
