Since yesterday I have not been able to send email out thru my
Verizon email..The send and draft buttons are faded and not bright red. I compose but cannot sent.
My verizon site is very slow and takes forever to load. Someone helped from Verizon helped me recently to even to get it to load. my email updates and is current in verizon, just can't send or save draft. Help!

Try cleaing all Browsing history - Tools- internet options - general tab - browsing history - delete...
If this issue still persits you may want to reset the browser- tools- internet options - advanced- reset.
I assume you are using internet explorer, could you please confirn this as well as which operating system ?

Make sure you have compatibility mode set for verizon web pages in Internet explorer. Has been needed for awhile and became critical with IE11 which may have recently been installed by Microsoft on your windows 7 machine.
