Setting up Vzn Email on Ipad

When I go to "Add Mail Account" and enter my name and  password to set up an email account on iPad, I get the following message when the system goes to look up my account:

"Cannot Connect Using SSL - Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL?"

Please advise what to do.
