Settings update
  • WindowsLive will not connect to incoming server; updated settings per April notice (to pop and smtp + ports + SSL); rebooted; still no connection but error message shows updated settings
  • contacted support for call-back; got recording that Verizon knows about the access problem, is working to fix it and advises to "reboot when fixed".
  • Suspect irain caused the connection failure.The settings update is a separate issue.

Anyone know if fixing the rain issue (if that's what it is; recording did not say) is likely to be complcated by the settings update?
