Incoming email has really been slow recently. I send myself note from work to my Verizon account, takes hours now, used to be instant. Any ideas?

I am having the same issue. Some emails take hours to send or receive even to/from other Verizon.net accounts. My wife will send me emails and I never receive them. Sometimes my Windows Live on my PC at home or iPhone cannot find the Verizon mail servers. These issues are happening on a consistant basis now for about 2 to 3 weeks.
