Temporary error: ymws:Server.MailboxOpenFailed

I have Verizon Yahoo mail. I began seeing  this message tonight. I spoke to Verizon Tech support and they said- yes, it is a widespread issue and it has to be fixed by Yahoo.

Has anyone else been getting this message?

I started having the same problem last night. I do not know what the issue is. Trying to contact Verizon support

Yes, I'm getting the same error, which started on the evening of June 25.  I tried resetting my password without success.

I noticed this yesterday mid-morning. Going on 24 hours of not being able to access my Yahoo email account. I'm livid. I just find this completely unacceptable and can't figure out how to contact Yahoo to find out when this will be fixed.
