Verizon has confirmed with Esaya (the company delivering TrueSwitch services) that Esaya is indeed converting all email folders from a customer's non-Verizon email account to the Verizon email account. Both the folders and the email in the folders is being transferred.
Please know however that if a customer has a sub-folder, it will be converted into a primary/parent folder within Verizon Message Center.
Verizon is also working with Esaya to insure that even empty folders get transferred to the Verizon email account. Thanks to the feedback on the Verizon Forum, we did uncover that TrueSwitch does not transfer empty folders. Esaya anticipates correcting this issue this summer.
