Verizon Yahoo Email Issue

My wife is not able to log into her verizon.yahoo account. Every time I get in contact with verizon no help.  Can’t contact yahoo support.  I never migrated to AOL. I was never given the option since I thought I was linked with yahoo. Now I can’t get into me email and need HELP
