Ever since Verizon changed their email in late Dec or early January I have had problems with it. (I use the web mail)
I will delete email and the heading will stay even if I close and reopen the email account this happens at random and eventually the emails vanish.
I will try to open an email and it will not be what the header showed, seems to be related to the deletion problem.
Today I discovered that email I had not seen to open or read was in my trash folder, I do not know how long this has been going on but it may be the final straw.
Has anyone else seen these problems and is there a fix or should I just move to another provider?

What internet browser are you using to access the webmail? The Verizon mail can also be downloaded to an email client on the computer which most people actually prefer over the webmail. If you need assistance setting that up, we would be more than glad to help.
I use both Internet explorer and firefox, and have seen problems in both.
I perfer to keep the mail on the server so I can access it from multiple locations and pc's.
I use G mail for work and have not seen these problems nor did I have these problems when I used NetZero.
WHY IS IT SO DIFFICULT TO DELETE MESSAGE ON VERIZON EMAIL....IT DOES NOT MATTER IF I USE VERIZON.NET, INTERNET EXPLORER, OR FIREFOX? I CHECK THE BOXES ON THE EMAILS I WANT TO DUMP..AND TRY TO DRAG THEM TO THE DELETED FOLDER.BUT IT ONLY WORKS HALF THE TIME.??
ALSO...WHAT ARE THE "OUTGOING" SETTINGS FOR VERIZON EMAIL ON MY KINDLE FIRE? I CAN GET INCOMING MESSAGES BUT CANNOT SEND ANY OUT.
I spent pains-taking hours last night cleaning out my in-box by deleting emails in groups. This morning I saw that most (if not all, I couldn't tell) had not been deleted, despite that I had confirmed all my deletions when prompted last night - - meaning, I wasted all that time and mental energy. I can't tell you how aggravated I am. This service is a joke.
