email sent to verizon.com instead of .net

An important email that cannot be resent unfortunately was sent to our username at verizon.com instead of verizon.net.  Is there anyway to retrieve such a thing?  People seem to make this mistake alot.  Does that address exist out there somewhere?  Thanks for any help!

Thanks, but it was sent to us from someone else.  They put .com instead of .net and we are unable to get in touch with them but need what they sent!

Unknown, but most likely not.

To check, for example, you could:

a) Go to http://network-tools.com/

b) Select E-mail Test

c) Type in the e-mail address into the provided field (which by default has your public IP there)

d) Press Go
