email sign on

my email keeps telling me that it has timed out and i need to enter passwords again after just a few minutes

Hi stank,

The website is set to time out. It's done that way for security reasons to protect your account information in the event of inactivity on the website so that someone else is not able to come along and get your information. This same technology is done on banking websites as well.

Hope this answers this as to why it happens.

But contradicts the sign on option of keep logged on for two weeks.  ITs really annoying because it also logs out single sign on.

I understand this feature but my email is signing off as soon as i sign on making me sign on a second time.
