export email contacts to gmail

How do I export my email contacts to gmail? I've tried to import the list when logged into gmail but keep getting "something is wrong" error message Is there a way to export the list?

I did and ALL my Folders and Contacts were moved for me

So the Verizon directions are wrong?  You cannot import Verizon email or contacts into GMail?

I need my contact list to send out emails. Verizon did not send the list when I transferred to Gmail. Can you help me?

Exactly where is it now ?

Did you migrate to AOL and then went to Gmail ?

If you migrated to AOL successfully did you do so with a  ######@verizon.net ?
