The reply option for email is not displaying the name. When I enter the name I still can not type anything in the messade box. Anyone else experiencing this problem? Verizon, please fix asap.

Just tested it and didn't have a problem.
Try deleting cache and cookies.
Try using a different browser.

As Walt said, it works. I do not think this is a Verizon problem.
So in addtion to what Walt said, if you have ANY add-ons installed in your browser, try starting the browser without any add-ons and see if the problem goes away. If it does it then you have the really fun job ahead to find out which add-on is causing the problem.
And when you do find a fix, please come back and tell us what the problem was, and how you fixed it, it will help others who might experience the same problem. Thanks.

How did you test my email? Are you a Verizon tech? What email account did you test?

When people say test in the above posts I believe they are using their own accounts. One other thing to try after clearing internet cookies - Go to internet options- general - Browsing History - press delete - select form data and delete. IF none of this helps, go to the advanced tab under internet options - and reset the browser - NOTE you will lose any custom settings if you do this.
Please let us know, there are other things to try that are more involved depending on your operating system.

1. I assume they didn't.
2. No. Verizon employees are identified with "Employee" status and a Verizon icon.
3. I assume their own. That's what I did.
I would very strongly suggest the no addons directions above as a troubleshooting step. It's not a Verizon-wide issue, since our accounts are all working, so odds are it's browser and/or addon related.
Another suggestion would be to make sure your Java and Flash are fully up-to-date.

ok I'm going to try to calm down and explain the situation better. I appreciate you trying to help but get upset easy when I have to talk to someone that can't help me. ((not you guys).
The problem is on a subacct. Not sure if on all I usually don't reply or forward other sub accts.
Here is what I posted on a different post:
yes, I 've reported it. After a frustrating 1/2 hour on the phone with a so-called tech I had no results. He had no clue and I was tried of repeating the problem. When he told me I didn't have enough space I knew I was in trouble. I've only used 2% of allotted space. I told him I'd appreciate it if he put in a ticket to have this problem looked at. He started telling me all about his education and that he had 2 yrs with Verizon....really??? Doesn't solve my problem.
No error message. I intermediately get a faded screen. When I try to reply:my email,as sender, is displayed but not the TO: and I cannot write in the message box(no cursor). When I try to compose(again sporatic) I can type in email address and subject but cannot write in message box.
I'm using internet explore and have tried chrome. I have no addons.
OK, so my primier email is fine-no problems but still having intermediate problem with sub account.

Thanks for the clarification, If no one has a better idea, you could set up a new sub account and test with it. Armed with that information maybe the very well educated rep will be more helpful.

I'm having the same issue. It appears to be intermittent, so I don't think it's cookie related.
It appears that the reply function is gettin hung. It starts to format the reply screen (put my email in the sender , but cannot populate the recipient address, and the rest of the screen is greyed out. When you cancel out, it gives you a message to Continue without saving, etc. I tried saving, but even the draft, when reopened comes up in the same hosed state.
I agree that it is getting very frustrating. I thought that it was a Windows 8 or Flash issue, but it's happening on multiple computers. They only way I can currently reply is through my phone. Help!..

You're getting exactly what I'm getting. I got lucky today and was able to reply to 5 emails before the problem arose.
Did you call tech support? If so, what did they tell you?
I got a call from a non Verizon person asking me if my trouble was resolved. I told her no and asked her to put in a ticket. She told me she didn't work for Verizon so I would have to call the tech line again.

I'm having the same trouble on primary and 5 sub accts for the last 3 days or so. When I reply to, reply all, or forward an email I get an extra line for the TO: option and under subject line I get Drop files here to add them as attachments , which takes up 2 lines leaving 1 line for message. If I have a CC or BCC I have no room for message and on either I can not scroll. There is also no send,cancel, etc buttons on top of email. I'm not the same Lynnie as original post.
