I just upgraded to Windows 10 and am using its mail app. I have an old verizon.net email that I did the migration for with aol, but it wont work now on this machine since upgrade.
Can any tell me how to get it to work on this machine?
Thanks in advance for any help.

You didn't say what app you are trying to use.
If trying to use the Windows 10 mail app, One thing I found is you must check your windows settings privacy options and make sure access to the calendar by windows is allowed even if you don't intend to use the calendar function.
In the mail app under sync options check the sync options advanced server options. I have
INCOMING SERVER pop.verizon.net:995:0
OUTGOING SERVER smtp.verizon.net:465:0
Both OUTGOING SERVER REQUIRES AUTHENTCATION and USE THE SAME NAME AND PASSWORD FOR SENDING EMAIL checked.

there are no privacy settins in my Windows 10 laptop or desktop PC. I have tried every conceivable setting to get my verizon.net email via aol.com to download to the native Mail app oni the laptop without success. My desktop PC receives verizom/aol email fine all the time via Outlook.
