wish to disconnect from fios

To Whom it may concern:

I currently subscribe to fios TV and internet.  I had to go overseas on travel and am not avaiable to call Verizon.  I find it higly unsatisfactory that I cannot disconnect my TV and Internet services.  I get charged if I suspend the service and I get charged to keep it when I'm not using it.  It is a hassle dealing with Verizon and I question why I ever became a customer.  If possible, please disconnect my service and I will return the equipment next month within the 30 day timeframe.

Have you tried Verizon's chat?  You can get to it through the "contact us" link at the bottom of these pages.  Here it is again:
