(3/29/14) lost my unlimited data plan, can it be restored?

I purchased the HTC One on the edge plan yesterday (3/29/14) lost my unlimited data plan by doing so. If I return the phone can I get my unlimited data plan restored to my old phone?

Hi.

I've gotten the endless run around and cannot take anyone (at 800 support line) at their word because they contradict one another and claim to not see prior notation on previous calls, retail visits, whether on the same day or otherwise.

That said, can someone kindly assist me on the community site? Looks like another customer had their data plan restored after returning equipment within 14 days and mine was a meager 8 hours.
