Is having prepaid better than having a contract because I can’t seem to get control of my bill ??

Contracts don't exist on postpaid either for service.

It really depends on what you want and what you are paying now.  I have been with Verizon since 2007.  About a year ago, I tried the prepaid, thinking I would get more for less.  The very first month I switched back to the postpaid, as I found the Internet faster and more reliable.  I ended up paying a little more, but it was worth it.

If the amount you are paying is your biggest concern, stay with Prepaid.
