Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this post.
I have an HTC Trophy WindowsPhone. The data plan I selected is 300MB/month. I have the phone set to connect to wireless networks when available.
Question: When I am connected to a wireless network and browsing the 'net, reading email, watching Netflix, etc., does this count against my 300MB/month? I assume that when using wi-fi any data usage will not be counted against my monthly allocation, but I want to be sure.
I appreciate replies!
It will not count against it.
Keep in mind, if you have things that update on a regular basis and you are not near a WiFi connection data will be used while you are not 'Using' the device.
Also you may be near a WiFi connection, but if you have not ever connected to it in the past, it does not automatically happen, so data would still be used. It does not take much to use 300MB of data
