Does Verizon use Optimum cables when you hook up to Fios?

I am a Verizon wireless customer.  Currently I am with Optimum and wanting to switch to Fios, but my optimum underground cable (under my driveway) is bad.  Does Verizon Fios use the Optimum cables? Are any cables required? Because I would have the issue of Fios having to put the cable under my driveway.  No one at Fios seems to be able to answer this question.
