Question about "extended 3G coverage"
Sailor-M
Member

I own an SIII and will be traveling to Door County, Wisconsin (the area between Green Bay and Lake Michigan).  I would like to use my smart phone while I am there to retrieve data.  I could certainly use advice on how to enhance the retrieval of data while up north.  Any suggestions are appreciated.

Sailor-M, we hope you have a great trip. The good news is that your device was designed to automaticcally pick up 3G when you are in a 3G area. The only thing with it being an extended network is that your signal may fluctuate or be  quite a bit slower than what you are used to. If you have access to WiFi, you can connect to it.
Other than that, there is no way to "enhance the retrieval of data."
