I seem to recall that there was a plan at one point that offered unlimited text and data, and per-minute voice (or you could buy blocks of minutes). Is there any way to get an option like that?
With all the new options available from smart phones, they should have plans that recognize that there are people who use their phones primarily for data or texting, and almost never for voice. I have the lowest minute plan, 450 per month, and I think the most I've ever used is 100. It bugs me that I pay $40 a month for a service that I only use about 1/4 of. I'd gladly pay $10 per month for 100 minutes, and pay overage fees instead on the off chance that I ever went over.
Please Verizon, provide more affordable alternatives that allow users to use their phones the way they want to without having to pay extra for services they never use.
