I have been a Verizon customer for over 8 years now and I am on the family plan (for my wife and I) with 1400 anytime mins. I am trying to add a line for daughter and finding it prohibitively expensive with Verizon. I am already spending $180 on average per month for the two lines. Adding a third line would be another $40 ($10 + $30 for data that I don't really want - but do want a smartphone). I am trying to see how I can break the contract with Verizon and switch to other carriers who are offering family plans with unlimited talk and text with more than 25 GB of shared data for $100. Feels like I am getting robbed. Any suggestions?

We really don't want you to consider leaving us VerizonIsVewyExpensive. I know getting the most for your money is very important. Based on the information you provided, you're still on a Nationwide Plan. Have you checked out our More Everything Plans? This may work best for you if you're looking to add a 3rd line. You can all have unlimited talk & text and share 6GB of data for about $20 more than what you're currently paying, ($180). It could also be a little less if you have an employee discount. The plan is $80, (minus a discount if you get one), then each line is $40 with a Smartphone. You can view plan options here: http://vz.to/1jb6J2p

Go with the less expensive option is your best option.
Suggestions?
Research, Research, Research.
List your priorities and rank them.
Also don't take the word of the "Sales' people at the various carriers.
If a deal sounds to good to be true, it probably is.
Make sure that the coverage of your carrier is going to meet your needs. A inexpensive plan is not worth a dime if you have no service.
Gook luck
