Too expensive to add a line for daughter

I have been a Verizon customer for over 8 years now and I am on the family plan (for my wife and I) with 1400 anytime mins. I am trying to add a line for daughter and finding it prohibitively expensive with Verizon. I am already spending $180 on average per month for the two lines. Adding a third line would be another $40 ($10 + $30 for data that I don't really want - but do want a smartphone).  I am trying to see how I can break the contract with Verizon and switch to other carriers who are offering family plans with unlimited talk and text with more than 25 GB of shared data for $100. Feels like I am getting robbed. Any suggestions?

List your priorities and rank them.

Also don't take the word of the "Sales' people at the various carriers. 

If a deal sounds to good to be true, it probably is.

Make sure that the coverage of your carrier is going to meet your needs.  A inexpensive plan is not worth a dime if you have no service.

We really don't want you to consider leaving us VerizonIsVewyExpensive. I know getting the most for your money is very important. Based on the information you provided, you're still on a Nationwide Plan. Have you checked out our More Everything Plans? This may work best for you if you're looking to add a 3rd line. You can all have unlimited talk & text and share 6GB of data for about $20 more than what you're currently paying, ($180). It could also be a little less if you have an employee discount.
