Transferring line

My 20 year old son would like to transfer his line from my plan to his own individual plan. Will this affect my contract terms on the remaining 3 lines on my family account such as unlimited data? Thanks.

The answer to your question is no.

If it were me, though, it would be much more economical to stay on your family plan until there is a need to switch to an individual plan. While your plan will just drop $10/month + data(if any), his plan will be at least $40/month + data(if any) + texting(if any).

Yes, I realize the economical factor..... however he has "found" his independance... so along with that comes the new phone bill.
