Will upgrading to iPhone 4 necessitate a new data plan?

I currently have a family plan and my device is a Blackberry Bold 9650 with a 150 MG data plan, which I have had for 2 years.. Will I be forced to upgrade to a 2GB data plan if if upgrade to an iPhone 4?

I think you'll be forced as the 2GB data plan is the limit on the iPhone unless you already have an unlimited data plan on a smartphone

150 MB on an iPhone is not going to be enough; on a Blackberry, it's fine, but not for the iPhone, even when connected to wifi 90% of the time. My daughter has a new iPhone and she's quite conservative with her data, connected to our home wifi most of the time, and uses just over 1 GB each month.

Using only 150 mb with an IPhone would defeat the purpose of owning an IPhone anyway.
