Beginning the evening of Sunday 12/4, both Communities will be placed in read-only mode. You’ll still be able to visit the Communities and browse content, but login will be disabled. On the afternoon of Monday 12/5, all users will be able to log into the new Verizon Community. We expect the new Community to be fully functional the morning of Friday 12/9. beyond unlimited 5G

Will the Beyond unlimited have 5G? is it better to stay on that plan then to switch to the new unlimited mix and match 2.0?

It is doubtful the Beyond Unlimited Plan will ever have a 5G feature added to it. It might be possible that eventually Verizon Wireless will allow customers who still have the plan to access the 5G network with that plan and a compatible device. However I wouldn't expect it. Verizon Wireless had in the past restricted 4G LTE devices from being activated on specific older plans originally designed for 3G EDVO devices.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Customer Support

Jthcong, we always want to make sure everyone is on the best plan for their needs. We're here to help. Thank you Ann154 for starting us off with some very helpful information. While we are not able to see future changes with older plans we can help provide further information on current plans. Our goal with the new plans is to provide a lot more for less cost. In most cases, customers are saving money or matching their current bills switching to one of the new plans. Is there something missing from one of the new unlimited plans that are creating reservations about switching?
